Doosan's lift truck history
Korea’s initial home-based forklift market was an open-import enterprise. In the 1960’s, Korea Machinery Co. Ltd. begun to import assembled forklifts as part of a nationwide machinery expansion project. Initial product sales of this manufacturing equipment focused on large business communities, the armed forces and on state-run firms. This eventually led to a unification with Daewoo Heavy Industries Ltd. In 1976, the Forklift Division commenced business operations throughout Korea to service and sell this heavy equipment. By 1978, a lift truck production plant was successfully completed. Continuous technical instruction grew to become the new focus for improving quality and product development.
The overall effectiveness of the propane lift truck is impressive. As the propane cylinders can be changed in hardly any time, the machine could be back on the job fairly quick for the reason that it experiences hardly any downtime. It is not like the electric lift truck where extra batteries need to be obtained to be utilized while the original battery can take up to 8 hours of cooling time plus 8 hours of charging time depending on the unit.
Safety
As the fuel system of the propane forklift is sealed; it is far safer to function as opposed to various models of lift truck. The fuel cylinders are sealed to ensure optimum safety and must follow strict national code specialization. Propane gas also operates with less energy as opposed to CNG gas, therefore, if any mishap occurs, there is a system where the fuel is shut off. This greatly minimizes the possible danger and damage which could occur. Refilling options are even beneficial for the operator. If they would rather refuel elsewhere, the cylinders could be transported to a refilling centre. If the business prefers, the refilling can be completed on site instead.
